Its project Maiim (38 units, Bahia Soliman, next to the Xcacel-Xcacelito Sea Turtle Sanctuary) received a negative Environmental Impact Statement from SEMARNAT and in June 2025 a judge from the Fifth Federal District of Quintana Roo ordered the demolition of the 5-level building for damaging the habitat of sea turtles. SEDETUS later revoked the permits. Its second project Nero (45 units) also received a negative Environmental Impact Statement from SEMARNAT in 2025. Same legal representation and modus operandi as Desarrollos Tulum Dieciseis (Adamar). Emblematic case of irregular coastal development in the Riviera Maya.
